Mini Adverts for Scotland & the Highlands

Scotland has many Islands, small and large and all of them have a special magic that can't easily be described unless you are a poet or an artist. I would simply say that when you spend a few days or longer on any of our Scottish Islands you will appreciate the tranquility and beauty I dare not try and describe - you must experience it first hand. To help you do this we have "discovered" a few Scottish Island websites that will help you plan your next trip and tour of Scotland.

You do not need to have a car to visit our Islands, just jump on a bus or train and then the Ferry at Oban or Ullapool and enjoy seeing the scenery without having to worry about driving. Of course if you drive then it does allow you to pop over to Skye from the mainland without paying anything. This Scottish Directory covers more than just holiday accommodation, you will find websites covering a wide range of interesting topics. My favourite sites are photographic ones - I love pictures of Scotland and of other countries as well of course.

We have discovered a few websites where we feel you would enjoy a holiday visit and if you decide to book a holiday through any of these specially promoted websites please let them know that you found them on the Scotland Travel Directory on Camusnagaul.com - of course we also want you to visit us at Camusnagaul and drop into our Maggie's Tea Room and Craft Shop (open Spring to Autumn) and we also have holiday accommodation available locally. Still Scotland is a big place and our Islands are very, very special. So visit, take some pictures and send them to our webmaster (after an introductory email first) and you may find your photos promoting Scotland.

Another wonderful Island well worth a visit is the Isle of Lismore which is close to Oban and approximately a one hour ferry ride. The Island is popular with cyclists and walkers. You will find a wide range of interesting information on the community website including nature notes, the history of the Isle of Lismore as photo gallery. I now have this Island down on my "must visit" list. So do a virtual visit to one of Scotlands most beautiful Islands and plan your next holiday.

If you have a website and would like it added then it would be really nice if you returned the compliment and listed our wee part of the Scottish Highlands, you can find some ideas and suggestions on how to do this on our Scottish Highlands at Camusnagaul banners page.
